There are several ways to make sure that your device will always play from its native Optical input. You can program in bit Drive one of the following options:
-
Mixer
You can mix together Analog (Master) and Digital (Optical) inputs in both the Master Input Mixer and the Optical Input Mixer. In this way, regardless of the Input Source currently active, the Optical input will always be used.
- Default volatile data
You can open the Default Volatile Data window (check section 7.6.2 Default Volatile Data of the bit Drive manual) and select the Optical input as Source. Then enable the Turn on Enable option such that the Optical input will always be automatically selected every time that the device is turned on
- Trigger wires
You can connect one CONTROL wire to a +12VDC signal and program the corresponding Trigger in bit Drive (read section 7.5 TRIGGER of bit Drive manual) such that it switches the device to Optical input anytime that the CONTROL wire is activated by a 12VDC signal.
