7.1 W-Drive Software installation.
The W-Drive software can be installed on PCs equipped with a Windows 10 or 11 operating system. Installing the software is necessary in cases where it is necessary to make a connection between the DSP and bit Drive, through an existing Wi-Fi infrastructure. The Software will allow you to configure the W-Drive by storing all the information necessary for the connection.
Once the W-Drive software release has been downloaded from the Audison portal, the user must open the W-Drive folder (vx.x.x.x), right-click on the setup.exe executable file and select Run as administrator

Press Next to continue.
Press Confirm to continue.
Press Finish to continue and wait till the installation is completed.
7.2 Uninstalling Pc Software
To uninstall the W-Drive Software we recommend using the standard procedure for the Windows operating system:
◼︎Click on: Start / Control Panel / Programs and Features
◼︎Click on W-Drive and select Uninstall
◼︎Follow the steps to complete the uninstallation.
Remark: at the end of the procedure it will immediately be possible to install a new W-Drive software release, without the need to restart the PC.
7.3 FW Update
The W-Drive FW update can be performed both in WI FI mode and in Ethernet mode.
To perform a firmware update, proceed as follows:
◼︎Download the latest FW available from the bit-Drive support page.
◼︎Turn on the system and make sure there is an active connection between PC and W-Drive.
◼︎Open the W drive Software and select the W-Drive device.
◼︎Select the Firmware window.
◼︎Select Open Folder and select the update file previously saved in your PC.
◼︎Wait for the update to be completed. This operation can take up to 5 minutes.
◼︎Upon completion of the successful update, the following message will be displayed.
The W-Drive is ready to be used in a new setup.
