5.1 WI-FI Access Point Mode
5.2 Ethernet Acces Point Mode
5.3 STATION WI FI Mode
5.4 STATION Ethernet mode
The W-DRIVE allows the connection to DSP products equipped with USB and ADC input, and can be controlled remotely via WIFI network generated by the PC or router. It is also possible to use the Ethernet wired connection in installations where such a connection is available. It is necessary that the bit drive SW with version 1.2.0.0 or higher is installed on your PC and if you use the Station mode (see section 7.1) also the W-Drive SW.
Limitations. The use of the W-Drive interface introduces some limitations to the bit-Drive software.
More specifically, the bit-Drive software, in the Network connection mode, will have the following Features disabled:
◼︎Inputs/Outputs electric RTA
◼︎Input levels auto-tuning
◼︎De-Phase
◼︎Calculation of inputs time delays
◼︎De -equalization
5.1 WI-FI Access Point Mode
1. The Access point mode is used when you intend to connect directly to the PC via its Wi-Fi network.
2. The W-Drive can connect to the DSP in two different ways, using the USB cable or the ADC/ADC cable.
ACCESS POINT WI-FI with ADC port
ACCESS POINT WI-FI with USB port
Connection:
3. Turn on the system and then check that the W-Drive device is available among the WI Fi network settings.
4. Select the W-Drive device and enter “AudisonDrive” for the password.
5. As soon as the Wi-Fi connection is established between the PC and the Audison W-Drive, open the BIT-Drive software and select the "NETWORK" mode.
6. At this point the Audison AF device connected to W-Drive will be available.
7. This configuration excludes the Internet connection to your PC.
5.2 Ethernet Acces Point Mode
1. The Access point mode is used when you intend to connect directly to the PC via direct Ethernet cable. The W-Drive can connect to the DSP in two different ways, using the USB cable or the ADC/ADC cable.
2. Il W-Drive può connettersi al DSP in due diverse modalità:
ACCESS POINT Ethernet with ADC port
ACCESS POINT Ethernet with USB port
Connection:
3. Turn on the system and then check that the W-Drive device connected to the Ethernet network is available among the network settings.
4. As soon as the Wi-Fi connection is established between the PC and the Audison W-Drive, open the bit Drive software and select the "NETWORK" mode.
5. At this point the Audison AF device connected to W-Drive will be available.
5.3 STATION WI FI Mode
1. The Station mode is used when a Wi-Fi network that you can connect to is available. As shown in the examples the computer communicates on this network, it can communicate with the W-Drive via the wireless router.
2. It is necessary to install the W-Drive software on your PC to allow the setup of the W-Drive with the Wireless network (see section. 6.1)

Connection:
3. Turn on the system and then check that the W-Drive device is available among the WI Fi network settings.
4. Select the W-Drive device and enter “AudisonDrive” as the password.
5. As soon as the Wi-Fi connection is established between the PC and the Audison W-Drive (see section 5.1), open the W Drive software and select the W-Drive device with a double click.
6. At this point you will need to connect to an existing Wi-Fi network.
7. Select “Station Mode” from the drop-down menu.
8. Select an available Wi-Fi network from the list of connections.
9. Enter the Password of the selected Wifi network and then select "Save".
10. As soon as the Wi-Fi connection is established between the PC and the Audison W-Drive, open the bit Drive software and select the "NETWORK" mode.
11. At this point the Audison AF device connected to W-Drive will be available.
5.4 STATION Ethernet mode
1. Station Ethernet mode is used when there is a network wired to a data switch to connect to.
2. As shown in the examples the computer communicates on this network, it can communicate with the W-Drive via the data router/switch.

Connection:
3. As soon as the Wi-Fi connection between PC and Audison W-Drive has been established (see section 5.2), open the W Drive software and select the W-Drive device with a double click.
4. At this point you will need to connect to an existing Wi-Fi network.
5. Select “Station Mode” from the drop-down menu.
6. Select an available Wi-Fi network from the list of connections.
7. Enter the Password of the selected Wifi network and then select "Save".
8. As soon as the Wi-Fi connection is established between the PC and the Audison W-Drive, open the bit Drive software and select the "NETWORK" mode.
9. At this point the Audison AF device connected to W-Drive will be available.
