FIRMWARE UPGRADE OF THE B-CON – Audison (zendesk.com)
Connect the B-CON with a compatible mobile device to use B-CON go app
Connect with AF bit
Follow the example "8.2.1. Bit AF / B-CON Absolute Volume ON / Automatic source switch through ADC-to-ADC cable." set out in the section
CONNECTION EXAMPLES – Audison (zendesk.com) of the B-CON manual.
Note: Please note that if you want to use the B-CON go app you cannot connect the B-CON to the Optical 2 port of the AF bit via F2O accessory, as the ADC cable in this case always forces the switch to Optical 1 input when streaming is active)
Connect with bit One HD Virtuoso
Follow the example "8.1.2. bit One HD Virtuoso rev. R04, R05 / B-CON Absolute Volume ON / Automatic Source Switching through ADC to ADC Cable" as shown in section
CONNECTION EXAMPLES – Audison (zendesk.com) of the B-CON manual.
Note: Please note that if you want to use the B-CON go app you cannot connect the B-CON to the Optical 1 port of the bit One HD Virtuoso, as the ADC cable in this case always forces the switch to Optical 1 input when streaming is active)
Open and connect the app B-CON go to the B-CON
When it is open, the B-CON go app automatically starts searching for the nearest active B-CON device.
If the B-CON is successfully detected, the app automatically connects to the device and starts in Online mode (connected to the B-CON). If the app does not detect any B-CON, it will show the message “B-CON not found” and the user needs to choose an option between:
- “Retry”: the app tries again to search for a B-CON to connect to
- “Explore”: the app starts in Offline mode (not connected to the B-CON)
Note: When you open the B-CON go app, it automatically starts searching for the nearest active B-CON device. If there are multiple active B-CONs near the mobile device where the app is open, the app will connect to the physically closer B-CON. In this case, the B-CON go app does not assign connection priority to the last previously connected B-CON. The connection priority is only dictated by the distance of the B-CONs from the mobile device.

How to disconnect the B-CON from the app and connect it to a new mobile device
If you want to connect another mobile device to the B-CON, simply close the app on the currently connected mobile device and open the app on the new mobile device.
Offline mode
If the app does not detect any B-CON, the warning "B-CON not found" will be shown and the user can select the "Explore" option to start the app in Offline mode (not connected to the B-CON).
In this mode, you can still access all sections of the app
Notes:
- In the Settings menu the user cannot see any B-CON firmware or amplifier/processor firmware
- temperature and voltage values are pure indicative
